Freya is known for her devotion of love, fertility, beauty, and fine material possessions; and because of such predilections, she’s considered to be the “party girl” of the Aesir. However, she is a lot more than just a party girl.
Freya is the archetype of the völva, a professional practitioner of Norse magic. She rides a chariot pulled by two giant cats and wears a falcon-feathered cloak that allows her to fly in the form of a falcon, as a part of her control over with shape-shifting magic.
